Meow's Favourite Pictures

Just a bunch of pictures, which I absolutely love, and would like to share with you ....

In June 2006 we went for a day drive to Portsea, about an hour's drive from Melbourne. On the way home, we stopped briefly in Mornington. This photo was taken from above the Mornington Marina ... that's the Melbourne skyline in the distance. It was a cold, windy day, and it was mid afternoon.

Reverberate ... thank you. The light was just at the right place for this shot ... a few minutes later, and all the color was gone. Once again, I was just lucky.

Lovely shot. What makes it more visually interesting for me to look at is seeing a figure of a person on the lower right hand corner. Great composition! :-)

Chrixean ... thank you. I can't take credit for the person being in the photo ... I was actually trying to not have the pier and person, but it was windy, so the camera moved !!! Or should I just take the compliment and smile !!
Thank you, have a great day. Take care, Meow

That is a great shot, such distance. Even these skyscrapers, these grand creations of man, look rather small from a distance.

Like some small sticks.

Alex ... thank you, and I agree. The distance makes them look like sticks poking out of the water.
